Cartrefi have partnered with The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) to provide grants to help colleagues who are currently experiencing hardship, grants of up to £500 are available. The amount awarded is at the discretion of the CWC grants assessor.
The grant is available to help you with specific financial needs in times of increased cost of living, unexpected major expenses and ease the burden of everyday expenses. The fund is limited and should be accessed by those who need it most- there is no entitlement.
The fund is available to contracted employees regardless of contract type or length of service.
Please note that you will need to provide your payroll number and this will be checked with Cartrefi HR to confirm you are eligible.
No details about your application or reason for applying for a grant will be shared with your employer.

The grants will be independently assessed by the Grants Team of the Care Workers’ Charity, and eligible grants will be paid out once approved.
You can apply for a grant towards more than one expense – please provide as much evidence as possible.
The team aim to turn applications round within two working weeks subject to receiving the necessary documents.
