Supported Living

Supporting people with learning disabilities or autism to live as tenants in their own home is the biggest area of our work. This involves providing registered domiciliary care and housing related support, usually on a 24/7 basis.

The number of people supported in one location is always small. This helps to ensure that their rights and freedoms as individuals are not compromised. We train and support staff to understand that they are working in someone’s home and must respect people’s dignity and choices.

We use Active Support and other person-centred techniques to enable people to be as independent as possible, and to lead active and purposeful lives both at home and in the community.
