My name is Sioned Fflur Evans I’m 33 years old and live in Llanllyfni, near Caernarfon with my partner and my 7 year old son. I have been working for Cartrefi Cymru for over 13 years as a Support Worker and for the past 2 years I have also been working a small contract as an Area Administrator.

I joined Cartrefi Cymru in 2005 after being a nanny for two years, I had no previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities. Over the last 13 years the people we support and how much they have achieved have made me so proud, this motivates me to ensure that they continue to receive the freedom of choice within Cartrefi, and are involved with decision making at the highest level.

I enjoy fundraising and helping different Charities by raising money and selling homemade gifts. In my spare time I enjoy being a Body shop Consultant.

In November 2017 I became the Co-op Chairperson for Deudraeth forum in Penrhyndeudraeth, which is what inspired me to put myself forward to represent the staff in North Wales on the Council of Members.

I believe being a part of the Co-op gives members the opportunity to contribute on how the company operates, by doing this we can set a good example for other organisations.
