Assistant Director (People)

I joined Cartrefi Cymru in April 2023 taking on the role of Assistant Director of People supporting three key areas of the Business in HR, Learning and Development and Health and Safety.  My background is varied having worked for Charities, Public and Private Sector Organisations.  I love to work for Organisations that make a difference to the lives of the people they support and despite having been here a short time I am already proud of the difference our people make to the lives of others every single day.

I genuinely believe any organisation is only as good as its people and I am passionate about culture, values, wellbeing, staff engagement and development.  I have been very lucky to have spent lots of time developing current and aspiring managers and leaders through my career and consider without doubt that excellent leaders make the most important difference to an employee’s experience and growth.  I also believe it to be an incredible privilege.

I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Master Practitioner and Coach in Neuro Linguistic Programming and currently studying for my ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. 

When I am not in work I love creative arts and crafts, gardening, spending time with family and friends, eating out and getting out into the sunshine (when we have some)
