I started my working life as a schoolteacher in Cardiff but after just two years left this role to start a career journey in the Pharmaceutical Industry. This concluded over 20 years later with senior executive experience in a range of functions including international marketing communications.

Not wishing to retire too early, I started a second career in Health and Social care, as a support worker and then as a senior manager enjoying working with individuals who have so many different abilities. 

Now retired, I am anxious to give something back, and drawing on past experiences and committing to Cartrefi Cymru, I am sure we will find many more opportunities to both learn and make a real difference to those we support.
