I currently work as a staff development officer, which means I am responsible for training and working with staff to achieve their qualifications. I have been in this role for approximately 5 years.

Outside of work, I am a volunteer organiser for a local Arts and Music festival which requires commitment and good people skills. Shortly I will be extending my volunteering to include the organisation of a trail running event.

I am passionate about animal rights and welfare and help out locally caring for cats and dogs.

Before heading to University I became interested in social policy and spent some time at the coop college, this gave me a grounding in cooperative values, which I hope to exercise as a Council Representative.
