Geraint and Graham gain a Horticulture Award

Geraint Eardley and Graham Evans have just completed a National Open College Network (NOCN) Qualification in Horticulture.

Both studied for their award at Glynllifon Campus near Caernarfon over a number of months, which gave students the opportunity to follow the growing season from seeds to flowering/ cultivation. Amongst the units required, were understanding propagation and various requirements for successful growing.

The whole experience has been worthwhile, the certificate displays to all that both have a better understanding of horticulture and it is a good grounding for any potential employment in the future.

Geraint said “I enjoyed planting the plants, looking after them and looking at them grow." Graham told us, "I really enjoyed the whole course".
